    Hi Guys

A quick question for you all - is it possible to capture video using USB 2.0, as it is supposedly as fast as firewire? I have never heard of a camera that can do this - is it simple and supported, or one for the future?

    Many thanks

    Good question.
    I've wondered this myself.
After hearing how fast USB2 was supposed to be, it certainly has kind of fizzled, as far as what I've seen.
    Anybody know much about it?

Well, I've already found out the answer on the "busy" Super8 forum. USB2 is as fast, but only in short bursts, so is no good for video which requires continuous high data transport, and USB2 is not supported by any camera manufacturer.

So my answer is simply, NO!
